From
the ashes of the French Heavy Metal
band DREAM CHILD (two Albums released,
the last one “Reaching the Golden Gates” on
Metal Blade), comes ETERNAL FLIGHT
!
At the beginning
of 2001 DREAM CHILD's vocalist and
songwriter Gérard
FOIS, decided that it was time to start
a new band, without forgetting its
roots. So ETERNAL FLIGHT was created,
taking its name from a DREAM CHILD's
song.
Gérard found
the perfect people to carry on its
project, Metal musicians with class
and also with different influences
varying from Metal to Pink Floyd
or Queen.
In June 2002 having
established themselves around the
actual line-up (with the exception
of Arnaud Gorbaty , drummer of French
band ALKEMYST – Nuclear Blast)
the band releases its first 3-track
demo tape, a well worked out product
that came with the artistic interpretation
of band's symbol, the Morphoenix by
the renowned Artist JP Fournier.
The demo tape led to a contract with
CRUZ DEL SUR MUSIC and plans for a
full-length release were soon launched.
In the first months
of 2004 the band records in its own
studio “Positive
Rage”, but in order to give the final
touch to an already strong sound, they
decided to work with Luigi Stefanini
for the final mastering.
“Positive Rage”,
as its name says, it's an Album of
mixed emotions and feelings, the
symmetry between progressive metal
music blended with raging power metal
songs. The vocals stand upfront recalling
attention for their extremely skilled
approach, at the same time that the
guitars build their walls of riffs
throughout the whole songs.
With “Positive Rage” ETERNAL
FLIGHT have recorded an Album that
will please the most refined and
progressive Metal Fan as well as
those looking for the emblematic
outburst of Power Metal.
Follow the flight of the Morphoenix,
an iron hand in a glove of steel!
