Few bands have been able to built in such a small time, such a strong following as Icarus Witch did! It seems like yesterday when their first EP “Roses on White Lace” was released getting the attention of many metal heads around the world… Then came “Capture the Magic” in 2006 released in Europe by Remedy Records and the success of their 2006 European appearances (among those, the Headbangers Open Air festival)  did nothing but confirm that Icarus Witch was one of the bands to be looked out in the always- prolific US metal scene.
No surprise then that there’s much expectations on their new album “Songs for the Lost”, once again produced by Eric Klinger (PRO-PAIN).
We’re pleased then to announce that Cruz Del Sur Music will be releasing the album in Europe on the 11th of September 2007, matching the US release-date. To say that in the US the album is released by Cleopatra and distributed by  one of the biggest distribution- companies around  (Koch), adds a special flavor to our achievement!
But that’s not all: the big news is that Joe Lynn Turner, the legendary singer of RAINBOW, MALMSTEEN and DEEP PURPLE, is singing on one track of “Songs for the Lost”, DEF LEPPARD’s cover “Mirror Mirror” from the “High ‘n’ Dry” album.
Watch out then for “Songs for the Lost”, because as the band recently stated, “is a 10 song collection of deep, powerful, melodic music that has changed our world”.

The deep core of the metal community know that IGNITOR is no joke, a Metal war- machine built on the skills of musicians with over 20 years of experience in metal/extreme music - beginning with AGONY COLUMN’s (one of the most awesome thrash bands ever) guitarist STUART LAURENCE (aka Batlord).
2004’s IGNITOR’s first strike was deadly. Their EP “Take to the Sky” was highlighted as Demo of the Month by Germany's Rock Hard magazine and PowerMetal.de voted Ignitor as one of the Top Newcomers of 2004.
Then came the live activity, culminated with their acclaimed presence at the KEEP IT TRUE festival in November 2005. The seeds were planted and the interest around IGNITOR rose confidently.
In 2007 IGNITOR are finally back to satisfy the hunger of all their old and new fans, with what we swear is going to be one of the heaviest releases of 2007. “Road of Bones”, 10 hymns of love to the tradition of Heavy Metal!
