PHARAOH/CANVAS SOLARIS 7″ split Ep hits the streets

After some delays due to a pressing plant problem, the 7″ split Ep between American heavy metal lords PHARAOH and CANVAS SOLARIS will finally hit the streets on June 28th 2010.

The record is simply titled “Tribute to Coroner” and already looking at the cover (a pure citation) it is clear that this release has a particular spirit: pay tribute to one of the seminal thrash metal bands of the 80s, Swiss CORONER, band originally produced by Tom G.Warrior of CELTIC FROST.

PHARAOH covers “Tunnel Of Pain”, one of the Swiss’ power trio most famous songs to date… it will indeed be very interesting for PHARAOH’s fans to see how Tim Aymar will pull such a different style from the band’s other releases…

Eccentric CANVAS SOLARIS are instead literally reinterpreting an original version of “Arc-Lite” (an originally instrumental song, of course!), confirming the band as one of America’s most interesting metal combos around today.

Pre orders are being accepted through Paypal this week, act fast because this is a strictly limited edition and will not be re-pressed anytime soon!!

Speaking of PHARAOH, the band will start recording a new album in August, while the long announced “Ten Years” EP has finally been set for a November street date release, so be ready to savor more American metal assault after the summer, to keep you headbanging during those cold winter months. More details and pre order options will be soon made available through CRUZ DEL SUR MUSIC‘s website, stay tuned!
