STEEL PROPHET released “Tree of Knowledge”, the second video clip taken from the forthcoming album “Omniscient”, which is due on July 11 in Europe and July 8 in the U.S. on Cruz del Sur Music. “Omniscient” will be released in less than 3 weeks in a limited edition 36-page digibook, compact disc (24-page booklet) and digital album. We regret to inform the fans that, because of production delays, the vinyl edition is postponed to late August.

This much anticipated record comes ten years after the band’s latest studio release, and will be a concept album based on an original story written by STEEL PROPHET‘s guitarist and founder member Steve Kachinsky Blakmoor. Famous German artist Timo Würz delivered an amazing cover artwork, and prepared 12 original booklet illustrations which help explain the lyrics and story itself.

STEEL PROPHET is not new to telling stories throughout concept albums: in fact, its 1999 classic “Dark Hallucinations” featured the “Fahrenheit 451″ story by Ray Bradbury. “Omniscient” will certainly continue the tradition in great style.
