DARK FOREST‘s third album “The Awakening” will be released on February 28th in Europe and March 6th in the USA, and so far it has been very well-welcomed by the Metal press.

To convince you that this album is rightly been regarded as “one of the best heavy metal releases of early 2014”, the band has released a videoclip of their new anthem “Sons of England” (without doubt, one of the most memorable songs amongst “The Awakening”‘s setlist). “Ein stimmiges Album.” (Time for Metal, D)

Goede plaat!” (White Room Reviews, NL)

“The Awakening” is one of the first real heavy metal highlights of 2014. Please let there be many more!” (Metal Squadron, N)

(Stormbringer.at, AT)

“Ein klassisches Metal-Album mit leicht epischem Charakter.” (Legacy, D)

(Bleeding4Metal)
