\nCRUZ DEL SUR MUSIC is pleased and proud to present its upcoming April release, a split 7\u2019\u2019 featuring two legends in EPIC METAL, OMEN and BATTLEROAR!<\/strong>
\nThe 7\u201d will feature two unreleased tracks<\/strong>, OMEN \u201cUp From The Deep\u201d<\/strong> and BATTLEROAR \u201cStronghold\u201d<\/strong>.
\nIt will be released in a deluxe edition on the occasion of OMEN\u2019s European tour in April\/May 2017.<\/p>\n

BATTLEROAR<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cStronghold\u201d is in the same style as the fastest and heaviest songs on their last album \u201cBlood Of Legends<\/em>\u201d (Cruz Del Sur, 2014). It shows a massive rhythmic session, great leads and Gerrit\u2019s classic, epic and melodic vocals.<\/p>\n

OMEN<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cUp From The Deep\u201d sounds as if it was taken directly from \u201cBattle Cry<\/em>\u201d\u2026 War cries introduce the legendary OMEN sound, with Kenny Powell painting a majestic tapestry of guitar notes above which Kevin Goocher delivers a brazen complimentary vocal performance.<\/p>\n

Besides, both bands have faced line-up additions in these latest months and the 7\u2019\u2019 is the occasion to test how the new line ups work.<\/p>\n

BATTLEROAR just announced the addition of Greg Vlachos<\/strong> (ex-Marauder<\/em>) on\u00a0\u00a0drums, and\u00a0\u00a0Michael Kontogiorgis<\/strong> (ex-Spitfire, Exoristoi<\/em> and more) on guitars as permanent members.<\/p>\n

While OMEN just announced on their facebook page the addition\u00a0of two new members to the line-up. Both of them are Kenny Powell and Kevin Goocher’s long-time partners in crime: Roger Sisson<\/strong> wrote many of the \u201cBattle Cry\u201d\u2019s\u00a0\u00a0riffs but was never part of the Omen line-up.. Now after 30 years he\u2019s the official new bass-player! And the new drummer, Reece Stanley<\/strong>, was in the Phantom X<\/em> line-up together with Kevin\u2026<\/p>\n

The 7\u2019\u2019 will be officially presented at Keep It True 2017<\/strong>, where OMEN will play alongside with Cirith Ungol<\/strong>, Manilla Road<\/strong>, Atlantean Kodex<\/strong> among others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
