Pittsburgh, PA NWOBHM-inspired upstarts LADY BEAST<\/strong> will be entering +\/- Studios<\/strong> in early September to record their third full-length album, \u201cVicious Breed\u201d<\/strong>, which will also serve as the band\u2019s first release for Italy\u2019s Cruz Del Sur Music<\/strong>. Jason Jouver<\/strong> will be handling production duties; Karl Dahmer<\/strong> has been enlisted to create the album\u2019s cover.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Comments guitarist Twiz<\/strong>: \u201cMusically, I’d say it’s a continuation of the \u2018Metal Immortal\u2019<\/strong> EP. Some of the songs were written at the same time as the songs on the EP. I think it’s our most dynamic and diverse album to date. We have fast songs (\u2018Vicious Breed\u2019<\/strong>), heavy songs (\u2018Lone Hunter\u2019<\/strong>), melodic songs,\u00a0a ballad (\u2018Always With Me\u2019<\/strong>), rockers (\u2018Get Out Of My Way\u2019<\/strong>), and an instrumental. I’m probably most proud of the songs on this than I am of other stuff I’ve written\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI am very proud of the melodies and lyrical content on this album,\u201d adds vocalist Deborah Levine<\/strong>. \u201cI have a bit of a formula when I start writing lyrics. The music and feel of the song obviously help the direction I turn, but also I like to have a skeleton of the same idea for each album. The song of an epic story, the hopeful song, the metal ripper, etc. Each is important as it builds the album as a whole. On ‘Vicious Breed’<\/strong>, we have our first ballad, on which it will be fun to slow\u00a0it down and have people hear a different side of us.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cVicious Breed\u201d<\/strong> is set for release on Oct 13, 2017, after which, LADY BEAST<\/strong> hopes to embark on their most expansive run of shows to date.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are excited to release our third full-length, but first release with Cruz Del Sur<\/strong>,\u201d concludes the band. \u201cThis is by far our greatest album yet and we are excited to get out there and play it for the world. We have goals of more\u00a0international touring in the next year.
