The first item to be released is a 7\u2019\u2019 split EP with fellow-mates CANVAS SOLARIS (Sensory Records). These two bands have committed to an excited but demanding task, covering each one a different CORONER song! PHARAOH<\/strong> performs a very professional and convincing version of CORONER<\/strong>\u2019s classic \u201cTunnel of Pain\u201d, while CANVAS SOLARIS<\/strong> hits the right notes with their personal version of \u201cArc-Lite\u201d. This 7\u2019\u2019 is to be intended as a tribute to the legendary Swiss band of which both PHARAOH and CANVAS SOLARIS are long-time fans!
\nThe release will see the light before summer 2010 and will be strictly available through Cruz Del Sur Music mail-order and other selected sales point.<\/p>\n

Second to be released, in October 2010, is the \u201cTen Years\u201d EP<\/strong> (cruz38) which was announced for 2009 but later postponed due to band and label other personal and professional commitments. This \u201cso-called EP\u201d (total playing time of almost 26 minutes!) starts with the title track (feat. Jim Dofka\u2019s guest solo) and \u201cWhen We Fly\u201d, 2 unreleased songs out of the \u201cBe Gone\u201d recording session.
\nThen comes the first surprise of the album, a cover version of New Model Army\u2019s classic \u201cWhite Light\u201d, with Tim Aymar giving out an exceptional and singular performance to his standards.
\nTrack 4 and 5 are \u201cReflection and the Inevitable Future\u201d and \u201cNothing I can say\u201d which were\u00a0 first released as a bonus 7\u2019\u2019 on the \u201cBe Gone\u201d limited gatefold LP release (cruz999).
\nTo close the album, PHARAOH<\/strong> comes with another particular cover song, SLAYER<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cTormentor\u201d, out of the classic album \u201cShow no Mercy\u201d.
\nThe album (again enriched with JP Fournier\u2019s original artwork) is to be considered musically more a follow-up of \u201cBe Gone\u201d than an insight of what\u2019s to come next in the future of PHARAOH<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Future that will shortly see the band enter MCR Studio again under the supervision of Matt Crooks, to start recording its fourth full length album to be released in Spring 2011.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

After almost two-year silence it\u2019s time for PHARAOH to hit the road again, with a bunch of new releases coming out 2010-2011.
