The video \u2014 shot in the band\u2019s natural live element in front of their loyal, headbanging fans \u2014 was edited by <strong>Christian Palm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The decisioning behind the <strong>\u201cLocust Plague\u201d<\/strong> video was simple for <strong>HAMMER KING<\/strong>. In an album filled with triumphant, sterling anthems, <strong>\u201cLocust Plague\u201d<\/strong>, in its barn-burning glory, has become an instant live favourite.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe just recently moved the song up to third in the setlist,\u201d says guitarist\/vocalist <strong>Titan Fox<\/strong>. \u201cWe also love the song because it captures the weekend we spent in Rome playing <strong>Cruz Del Sur Music<\/strong>\u2019s<strong> \u2018Burn This Town\u2019<\/strong> festival with <strong>ROSAE CRUCIS <\/strong>and <strong>SACRED STEEL<\/strong> \u2014 it\u2019s all there in the lyrics. I\u2019ve always liked songs that told a true story, sort of like <strong>SAXON<\/strong>\u2019s <strong>\u2018And The Bands Played On\u2019<\/strong>. Gladly, the <strong>King <\/strong>gave us a song to remember the festival forever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThe Poseidon Will Carry Us Home\u201d<\/strong> album cycle has surpassed expectations for <strong>HAMMER KING<\/strong>. In addition to critical and journalistic acclaim, the band has expanded its reach in the continental metal scene, something the <strong>King <\/strong>is very pleased about, according to <strong>Fox<\/strong>. The immediate future will find <strong>HAMMER KING<\/strong> playing a handful of important live dates, with other more \u201cpleasurable\u201d happenings taking place as well.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>HAMMER KING<\/strong> will certainly spend some days refuelling at the nudist beach of Saint Tropez Kingdom,\u201d says <strong>Fox<\/strong>. \u201cYou know, beautiful naked women to our left, beautiful naked women to our right. But we will keep playing shows as well. A benefit festival with <strong>TANKARD<\/strong> is next, we will play a very small metal cruise on a river in the French-German borderland, then there is a festival with <strong>GRAVE DIGGER<\/strong> and <strong>GIRLSCHOOL<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt the same time, we are already working on songs for our fourth album. Around 20 ideas are floating, but not all will be on the album.
