The band\nis currently taking part in Germany\u2019s country-wide lockdown to control the\nspread of the Coronavirus, but that hasn\u2019t stopped them from unearthing their\nbrilliant live set from the 2018 Hammer of Doom festival. The show was a\ncritical turning point for the band \u2014 it was the second show for drummer Michael\nFr\u00f6lich, who went from being a temporary replacement to a full-time member \u2014\nand captures OLD MOTHER HELL in their pure metal power trio glory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Hammer of Doom show still&nbsp;is something very special for\nus,\u201d says guitarist\/vocalist Bernd Wener. \u201cWe were invited just two weeks\nbefore because some other band had to cancel and were at least as excited as\nwith the Hell Over Hammaburg invitation some month prior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt was just our second show with Michael as a\nreplacement drummer and we never played in front of such a big audience before,\nso we were pretty nervous. So nervous indeed, that the first song of the set, \u2018Another\nWar\u2019, is missing because I forgot to switch on our camera. From song to\nsong&nbsp;there were more people gathering in front of the stage and more and\nmore fists were raised into the air. What a view, what a feeling. We were\noverwhelmed by the energy and&nbsp;the positive reactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAfter the show,\nMichi decided to join the band. Finally&nbsp;having a full line-up again,&nbsp;we\ninstantly&nbsp;decided to work on a new album and made a rough schedule. Of\ncourse, we may have to postpone this due to the current situation, but we keep\nevaluating the situation daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe cannot meet up\nto rehearse or stream live, so we decided to at least upload this very special\nshow as a whole.
