METAL REVIEW.COM in collaboration with Cruz Del Sur Music has launched an ARGUS contest today. Waiting for the release of the highly anticipated “Boldly Stride The Doomed”, the fine folks at Metal Review.com have come up with a great idea for a contest that will actually land you copies of the record, and a cool, exclusive ARGUS live DVD-R with footage from their recent performance at Hammers Of Doom Festival in Wurzburg, Germany.

The prizes will be delivered to the first three people answering a crucial question: who is the giant monster appearing on both ARGUS’ record covers, what’s his name, and what is he doing there?

When participating, you have a chance to win the following:

3rd place: a copy of the new Argus CD, Boldly Stride the Doomed.

2nd place: a copy of the new Argus CD, Boldly Stride the Doomed and a DVD-R copy of their 2011 performance at Germany’s Hammer of Doom Festival.

1st place: a copy of the new Argus CD, Boldly Stride the Doomed and a DVD-R copy of their 2011 performance at Germany’s Hammer of Doom Festival AND a copy of the band’s self-titled debut on 2xLP including two bonus tracks not featured on the cd!

Be humorous. Be serious. Be anything you want to be! But above all else, be creative. Tell your answer in at least 100 words, and vocalist Brian “Butch” Balich will stand at the pearly gates on Heavy Metal High and JUDGE you!

Entries begin TODAY and end on May 3rd, so follow this link and participate in MetalReview’s “Name That Mascot and Tell Us What the Hell He’s Doing On Those Two Covers” Contest!!

Be also aware that Metal Review.com is also offering for ONE WEEK ONLY a streaming audio of the COMPLETE “Boldly Stride the Doomed” album… if you were still not convinced this is going to be one of the best heavy metal releases of 2011, this is the chance to prove YOU ARE WRONG!
