CORONER REUNITES, CELEBRATE WITH PHARAOH/CANVAS SOLARIS 7″

It seems like Cruz del Sur Music, releasing the split 7″ between Pharaoh and Canvas Solaris, forecasted a very interesting event for the metal world: the reunion of CORONER.
The seminal 80s Swiss band has been paid a special tribute released on wax at the end of June by Cruz del Sur Records. American bands Pharaoh and Canvas Solaris give justice to “Tunnel of Pain” and “Arc-Lite”, two of the most famous CORONER songs.

PHARAOH/CANVAS SOLARIS 7″ split Ep hits the streets

After some delays due to a pressing plant problem, the 7″ split Ep between American heavy metal lords PHARAOH and CANVAS SOLARIS will finally hit the streets on June 28th 2010.

The record is simply titled “Tribute to Coroner” and already looking at the cover (a pure citation) it is clear that this release has a particular spirit: pay tribute to one of the seminal thrash metal bands of the 80s, Swiss CORONER, band originally produced by Tom G.Warrior of CELTIC FROST.

PHARAOH: Work(s) in progress!

After almost two-year silence it’s time for PHARAOH to hit the road again, with a bunch of new releases coming out 2010-2011.
Following the incredible success of their third album “Be Gone” (Cruz Del Sur Music 2008) and their first-ever live appearances at Keep It True festival (Germany) and at the Alehorn of Power (Chicago, US), the band took a little break which has now finally come to an end.
