STEEL PROPHET releases the “Tree of Knowledge” video

STEEL PROPHET released “Tree of Knowledge”, the second video clip taken from the forthcoming album “Omniscient”, which is due on July 11 in Europe and July 8 in the U.S. on Cruz del Sur Music. Firstly streamed exclusively at www.apochs.net earlier this week, the video is now available on our YouTube channel. Please subscribe to keep updated on our bands’ engaging videoclips!

“Omniscient” will be released in less than 3 weeks in a limited edition 36-page digibook, compact disc (24-page booklet) and digital album. We regret to inform the fans that, because of production delays, the vinyl edition is postponed to late August.

This much anticipated record comes ten years after the band’s latest studio release, and will be a concept album based on an original story written by STEEL PROPHET‘s guitarist and founder member Steve Kachinsky Blakmoor. Famous German artist Timo Würz delivered an amazing cover artwork, and prepared 12 original booklet illustrations which help explain the lyrics and story itself.

STEEL PROPHET is not new to telling stories throughout concept albums: in fact, its 1999 classic “Dark Hallucinations” featured the “Fahrenheit 451” story by Ray Bradbury. “Omniscient” will certainly continue the tradition in great style.

SLOUGH FEG: EUROPEAN ATTACK PLANNED FOR 2011

It is our great pleasure to announce that SLOUGH FEG has been confirmed for the 2011 edition of HEADBANGERS OPEN AIR which will take place during the last weekend of July 2011 at the usual location (Brande-Hörnerkirchen, Germany). Some of the other confirmed bands on the HOA 2011’s bill are Powermad, Striker, Meliah Rage and Torch among others…

SLOUGH FEG are a very special band to us. Purveyors of an extinct blend of classic rock and supreme metal, weavers of incredible melodies and ear ripping guitar work, they are one of long standing promises of American Heavy metal and have been one of the highlights in CRUZ DEL SUR’s roster for years. we know that, as you European fans are yearning for some SLOUGHgging, CRUZ DEL SUR had to try and bring the band back over to our shores for some blasting metal live action.

CORONER REUNITES, CELEBRATE WITH PHARAOH/CANVAS SOLARIS 7″

It seems like Cruz del Sur Music, releasing the split 7″ between Pharaoh and Canvas Solaris, forecasted a very interesting event for the metal world: the reunion of CORONER.
The seminal 80s Swiss band has been paid a special tribute released on wax at the end of June by Cruz del Sur Records. American bands Pharaoh and Canvas Solaris give justice to “Tunnel of Pain” and “Arc-Lite”, two of the most famous CORONER songs.
